What is Angelic Reiki?
Angelic Reiki is an energy healing practice in which the practitioner works with the angelic realm while the client rests fully clothed. It is gentle and entirely non-invasive: you lie still, hands rest on or just above the body, and the healing is channelled rather than manipulated. It shares a lineage with Reiki as it is more widely known, and sessions run 60 or 90 minutes.
What happens in an Angelic Reiki session?
You talk briefly at the start, then lie down fully clothed while hands rest on or just above your body for the main part of the session. Sessions run 60 or 90 minutes and move through the body's energy centres in turn. People describe warmth, gentle tingling, heaviness or lightness, and a good number simply fall asleep. There is unhurried time at the end to sit up slowly and hear anything that came through.
How is Angelic Reiki different from Usui Reiki?
The difference is who the healing comes through: in Angelic Reiki the practitioner steps back and works with the angelic realm, where in Usui Reiki the practitioner channels universal life-force energy directly. From the outside a session looks much the same: same stillness, same light touch, client fully clothed throughout. Angelic Reiki also carries its own attunement lineage, separate from the Usui one.
Do I need any prior experience with Reiki?
No. Most people booking a first session have never had any kind of energy work before, and nothing is expected of you. You do not need to prepare, believe anything in particular, or know what to do. Jessie explains what will happen before anything begins, and you can ask as much or as little as you like.
How much does a session cost?
An Angelic Reiki healing is $130 NZD for 60 minutes. A reading and healing together is $180 for 60 minutes or $210 for 90 minutes. Distance sessions are priced the same as in person: $130 for a healing, $180 for a reading and healing. Three-session packages are $350 for healings and $480 for reading and healing. Payment is taken when you book.
How do distance sessions work?
You book a time, lie down comfortably wherever you are, and the healing is sent to you at that time. No travel, and nothing to set up beyond a quiet hour. You will get a message beforehand to set your intention and a written reflection afterwards; if you have booked a reading as well, that part is delivered live online. Distance sessions are the same length and the same price as in-person ones, and they are available anywhere in New Zealand.
Where are sessions held?
In-person sessions are held at Jessie's home treatment space at 17F Watene Road, Mount Wellington, Auckland 1060. The exact arrival details are sent to you once your session is booked. If you are outside Auckland, distance sessions are available anywhere in New Zealand at the same price.
What should I wear, and what should I bring?
Wear whatever is comfortable and easy to lie down in. You stay fully clothed for the entire session. Bring nothing but yourself. It helps to drink water beforehand, to avoid a heavy meal right before, and to leave a little room in your day afterwards rather than going straight into something demanding.
Is Angelic Reiki a medical treatment?
No. Angelic Reiki is a complementary wellbeing practice and is not medical care, so no diagnosis, treatment or cure is offered and nothing here is medical advice. If you are under the care of a doctor or therapist, please stay with it.
Do you offer packages?
Yes. Three sessions for $350 (healing) or $480 (reading and healing), which is around 10% less than booking the same three singly. Sessions in a package can be used in person or at distance, whenever suits you. There is no expiry pressure and nothing renews automatically.
Angelic Reiki is a complementary wellbeing practice. It supports, and does not replace, medical or mental-health care. No diagnosis, treatment or cure is offered, and nothing on this site should be taken as medical advice.
